I'm a junior in college, studying to someday go to nursing school! But I'm having fun and taking it slow, loving the experience.

I'm studying film with a minor in political science. I'll be unemployed after college, but at least I'll be doing what I love (hopefully)

Re: College folk
Going for Bachelors of Mental Health and Human Services and certificates; Mental Health Rehbilitation Technition/ Community Level C or MHRT/C for short, Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Technition, Child and Youth Care worker. The level C in MHRTC means I'm certified for life but it requires a lot of classes to get. Getting it means I can get paid in my internship program.
Re: College folk
Starting monday i'll be doing a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Maybe a masters, if i have the money after 3 years haha
Re: College folk
Currently attending junior college for associate's in network/internet security. All but certain to continue it in some for or fashion for a bachelor's in IT security with a minor in quantum physics.
However, if I win the lottery, I'm dropping everything and going for a doctorate in quantum physics. Reason? Doctorate minimum you can figure as 8 years. Also waaaaay to much debt.

Re: College folk
So I'm NOT in college yet technically. but its my last year, soo...
My Highschool has this program that ensures you get into the local community college for about 3 years (It also preps me for CNA because I'm studying the nursing part of the program so I can have that to fall back on if my plans don't work out), then I hope to move onto USF and get into the Psychology program. To become a licensed psychologist however I'll need to attend Grad school for 4 years. And earn a Psy.D (which is what I'm aiming for) it'll be a lot of pressure on me, but I'm ready to bring it >

Re: College folk
Damn dude. That was a lot to take in but glad you are on top of it all.
I was lucky, I 100%'d maths and physics which is what i need for mechanical engineering but i fucked up everything else so i couldn't get in on those alone.
I fucked up because the special education department in my school didn't have enough money to focus on everybody so they let me slide as i wasn't failing everything (maths and physics are easy to me but everything else is a bitch, whereas some people just couldn't do shit all together)
So whilst being the most intelligent person in the school i was achieving the lowest average grades. But yeah i got into uni off of a sports and IQ scholarship, i got really lucky basically :P
